Lunch time isn't about having a massive meal, it's basically about
having light yet filling tasty food that will keep you full until the
afternoon or evening, ready for dinner.
Lean lunch food can include anything from sandwiches to pasta to
salads and crackers! Something to accommodate the warm
sunshine and ongoing pace of the day and sometimes, for those of
us who are very busy, food that can
be eaten on the go.
If
you're having sandwiches for lunch, try to keep to multi-grain
bread rather than it's processed buddy - white bread. Salad
dressing should be kept to a minimum as a lot of the processed
(not including home-made) salad dressings are heavy in oil.
Also, don't forget the fruit! Fruit can work well as a lean lunch
dessert.
