for a little snack in between meals? You don't need to open
a packet of potato crisps to fill that stomach! There are
HEAPS of delicious, quick lean snacks you can make in the knick of
time! For
instance, put 1/2 a cup of popcorn (without butter or salt) in the
microwave for 2 -3 mins and voila! you have yourself a delicious
and LEAN snack!
Ahead of time -
you should make yourself some sandwiches, fat free low sugar (or
substituted sweetener) muffins or boil some eggs so you can just
put them on a piece of bread, splash of pepper and you're set! No
mayo... unless it's lean 'fat-free' mayonnaise! Lean snacks are
still tasty!
If you're still
hungry and looking for lean snacks, try a potato in the microwave
for 2 minutes with some lite sour cream on it (when it comes out).
Potato will help to fill you a little before your next main meal.
Or chew on some vegetables, fruit and nuts. If you want
something sweet, have a piece of bread with honey on it - it's
natural sugar - not added.
Or, have a drink
of water and wait 15 minutes and you'll probably find you don't
need a snack food after all :).
